Letter from District VII Chair
Dear Colleagues and Guests:
On behalf of the ACOG District VII Planning Committee, we are excited to invite you to our Annual Meeting scheduled for September 24-26, 2021, at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa!
This is going to be an awesome meeting and a long overdue opportunity to just get to be together, while following all ACOG and CDC guidelines for in-person activities.
Each and every session on this unique program has the aim of helping physicians improve their own health so that they can best serve their patients. We also welcome your spouses, partners, and families as the sessions are designed to help you grow and develop both professionally and personally.
Whether you’re testing your knowledge at the Stump the Professors session, hearing about new and exciting information in the Donald F. Richardson Junior Fellow oral presentations, or enjoying the charming city of Tulsa, you’re sure to enjoy yourself at this year’s annual district meeting.
For things to do pre-, during, or post-meeting, Tulsa has something for everyone. Bring your family and check out the one-of-a-kind playground at the Gathering Place! Art and garden lovers will enjoy the Philbrook gardens and art gallery. History buffs, come check out the Woody Guthrie Center and tour the Greenwood District which was once home to Black Wall Street.
If you have time to explore more of the area, you may also want to visit the very popular Pioneer Woman Mercantile with a general store and multiple restaurants within a one- to two-hour drive of the hotel. As well as, the Price Tower, Frank Lloyd Wright’s only skyscraper which is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel.
Reserve your room at Hyatt Regency Tulsa, and join us for an informative and memorable meeting.
