The AAP released the 8th edition of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program in June 2021. There were only minor changes to the NRP algorithm and recommended practices. Most changes are related to program administration and course facilitation. NRP courses are moving from the HealthStream platform to RQI. There are now two levels of NRP providers: Essentials and Advanced. NRP Instructors must begin using the 8th edition materials before January 1, 2022. The updated textbook and materials are now available for purchase from the AAP Store.
