Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine is offering resources to non-members through June 30 and other upcoming webinars

RELEASED LAST WEEK

Under the leadership of the Health Policy and Advocacy Committee, SMFM wrote a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate leadership last week, detailing SMFM’s priorities for the next COVID-19 emergency response package. Read the complete letter here.

COMING THIS WEEK

SMFM will host two, no-cost webinars this week. Registration details are below. If you are not able to view the webinars live, recordings will be posted after the live broadcast. If you have questions or problems registering, please email Gabbie Taylor at gtaylor@smfm.org.

  • Join SMFM on Wednesday, May 20 at noon (ET) for a webinar with Drs. Joey Biggio, Alison Cahill, and Chris Pettker on “Re-Activation of Clinical Services.” Register here.
  • Join SMFM on Friday, May 22 at 12:00 noon (ET) for a webinar with Drs. Rodney L. Wright, Diana S. Wolfe, Rebecca Zash, and Olubukola A. Adesina on “Practical Guidance during the Era of COVID for Obstetricians in Low and Middle-Income Countries (LMIC).” This webinar will share lessons learned by MFMs treating pregnant women with COVID-19 in New York City and Boston. Register here.

Finally, in spirit of SMFM’s mission – to optimize the health of high-risk pregnant women and their families – SMFM is temporarily opening additional SMFM resources to non-members. Now through June 30, 2020 you will be able to access SMFM’s online education and professional networking tools at no cost.

If you would like more information or assistance with becoming an SMFM member, please contact Courtney Thompson (cthompson@smfm.org) or Tim Heinle (theinle@smfm.org).
