NEW ACOG eModule with 7 FREE CME: Implementing the Obstetric Care for Women With Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Patient Safety Bundle

AIM is excited to announce the release of the newest ACOG eModule, Implementing the Obstetric Care for Women With Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) Patient Safety Bundle.

The module is available at no cost and can be accessed on the ACOG website HERE.

It covers best practices in recognition and treatment strategies for OUD during obstetric care, including medication as therapy, also known as medication assisted therapy (MAT).  You will learn to leverage appropriate feedback frameworks and management considerations while providing obstetrics-related care to patients with OUD. The module also covers identification of community stakeholders, resources, and indicated reporting and systems learning in the obstetric clinical setting.

You do not need to be an ACOG member to access the module, but you do need to create an account on the ACOG website.  Learners can earn a maximum of 7 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ for completion.  While there are currently no nursing CE credits available for the completion of this eModule, AIM is working hard to rectify that. We will provide an update once we have secured the approval to move forward with CE credits.
