TeamBirth continues expansion in Oklahoma | Tulsa first city in US to have TeamBirth at every hospital

TeamBirth, an innovative approach to improve communication and teamwork in childbirth pioneered by Ariadne Labs’ Delivery Decision Initiative (DDI), is rapidly becoming standard practice in Oklahoma hospitals. Tulsa’s Fox23 News reports that TeamBirth is in place for every delivery hospital in Tulsa. The report features DDI Director Amber Weiseth, DNP, MSN, RNC-OB, who said, “We want patients to come in and have autonomy over what happens to them…we want them to be part of every conversation and decision.”
