Join COBA for a virtual panel discussion on supporting breastfeeding parents in the workplace including employment protections for employees who are pregnant or nursing, featuring panelists Michelle Browning Coughlin, Louisville, KY attorney and founder of MothersEsquire and Patricia McMahon, Lead Outreach and Education Coordinator, EEOC-Denver Field Office.  McMahon is also the Region 8 Lead – White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI).  MothersEsquire is dedicated to supporting women lawyers who are balancing the demands of the profession with the joys and challenges of parenthood.

Michelle and Patricia will be joined by John Carey, former member of the OK State House of Representatives, who authored HB 2102, Oklahoma’s “anytime, anywhere” and “jury duty exemption” law.

Panel will be moderated by Above the Law contributor April Kelso, practicing attorney and breastfeeding working mother.
