Oklahoma Perinatal Nurses Forum
The Oklahoma Perinatal Nurses Forum (OPNF) is a consortium of perinatal nurses from across the state of Oklahoma. OPNF provides collaboration and sharing of expertise and regional expert perinatal resources. In addition to support of perinatal nursing leaders, the OPNF facilitates the Perinatal Boot Camp series of perinatal and neonatal subjects for entry level learners.
OPNF Perinatal Nursing Boot Camp
This five-day course is designed to provide high quality, cost effective, didactic education to nurses (recent graduates and licensed nurses) who are new to the field of Obstetric and Newborn Nursing. It is intended to augment the hospital clinical orientation to the obstetrical and newborn units. Basic course content includes pathophysiology, assessment, medical and nursing therapeutics and evaluation of nursing care.
