Looking at Diversity Training Description: To fully support infants, children, and families it is necessary to intentionally address diversity, trauma, and resilience. Participants of this training will begin by viewing the documentary, Resilience, which will set the stage to discuss the multiple effects of trauma and how trauma is passed down inter-generationally.  Through this trauma informed lens, the Diversity-Informed Infant Mental Health Tenets will be discussed.  Participants will be encouraged to participate in activities and discussion in small groups as they examine how their lens affects their work of supporting pregnant and parenting women, their families, and their infants.
****These trainings has been approved for 4 hours of Continuing Education Units (CEU) through the Oklahoma State Board of Licensed Social Workers, the Oklahoma Board of Examiners of Psychologists, the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors, the Licensed Professional Counselors Committee, and the Licensed Marital and Family Therapist Committee, Case Managers and Peer Recovery Support Specialists.  These trainings have also been approved for 4 hours of CLE and MJCLE through the Oklahoma Bar Association.  *****
