AHA Scientific Statement: Cardiac Arrest in Pregnancy

With the release of the 2015 American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines for CPR, the AHA has released a scientific statement, Cardiac Arrest in Pregnancy. It is the first scientific statement from the AHA on maternal resuscitation. The document includes algorithms for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.

The guidelines for neonatal resuscitation have also been revised. The NRP has produced a document summarizing the changes in the guidelines.
