The webinar will be led by Stacy Scott, PhD, MPA, founder of the Global Infant Safe Sleep Center. In a series of role playing exercises, she will demonstrate tactics to engage families from different backgrounds in meaningful conversations about safe sleep. Attendees will walk away with language and strategies that can be put into practice immediately
Making Breastfeeding Easier is a free, one-day breastfeeding education class for healthcare providers that covers the basics of breastfeeding support. This class is provided by the Oklahoma Breastfeeding Resource Center and taught by Rebecca "Becky" Mannel, BS, IBCLC, FILCA. Attendees of this class will be approved for 7.5 nursing contact hours.
