SUMMARY:ODMHSAS - Maternal Mood Disorders Training
DESCRIPTION:This Training is for Healthcare Providers and Behavioral Health Clinicians that will work with Mothers of child bearing age and families. Participants will learn about MM Disorders such as: Perinatal and Post-Partum Depression\, Anxiety and Psychosis. Participants will learn about screening tools\, intervention and resources that are available to treat individuals dealing with Maternal Mood Disorders. There will be discussion on other aspects of Maternal and Child Health that need to be addressed\, such as\, prenatal substance exposure and neonatal abstinence syndrome. \nThis training is also appropriate for providers and clinical staff that work in an OB/GYN office.. There will be CEU’s available for Behavioral Health Clinicians.

SUMMARY:OBRC - Breastfeeding: A Continuing Education Program Seminar
DESCRIPTION:OBRC recently announced their newly acquired program for Breastfeeding: A Continuing Education Program (BCEP). BCEP is a comprehensive\, self-paced program designed to teach health care providers consistent\, accurate\, and current breastfeeding information without leaving your home or workplace. This program is designed for use by those who care for mothers and their babies from conception through the first year of life. This includes physicians\, lactation consultants\, hospital nurses\, clinic nurses\, public health nurses\, WIC counselors and dieticians. The program is an effective option for staff education to address topics required to implement the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative\, or to understand in greater detail how to sustain optimal breastfeeding. \nThere is a limit of 20 attendees.
