DESCRIPTION:“Train The Trainer” Workshop on Infant Safe Sleep Environments to Reduce Infant Mortality\nThe “Train the Trainer” workshop allows the participant to learn the essential skills needed to transfer knowledge to adult learners in a way that is educational\, interesting and interactive.\nAt the end of the workshop\, the participant will be able to:\n1)Understand the significance of infant mortality\n2)Discuss SIDS and SUID\n3)Understand what constitutes a safe sleep environment\n4)Develop skills to effectively teach current safe sleep practices by examining the expanded AAP guidelines.\nThis workshop would benefit professionals who need to train their staff or a large group of professionals on how to educate the general public on safe sleep practices for infants.\nWorkshops are offered on a quarterly basis at the Oklahoma City County Health Department 2600 N.E. 63rd Street Oklahoma City\, OK\, 73111.\nThe next training will take place on February 2\, 2016 from 9am to 11am.\nIf you are interested in signing up please contact: Sheri Brack at 405.419.4179 or email sheri_brack@occhd.org
