DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, January 23\, 2024 at 6pm the District VII Maternal Mortality Committee will be hosting a webinar featuring Dr. Cornelia Graves for Maternal Health Awareness Day (MHAD) \nDr. Cornelia Graves will be giving presentation about inequities in healthcare with a focus on cardiovascular disease and hypertension. Considered an international expert in the management of maternal disease\, Dr. Graves is extensively published and has received numerous teaching\, research\, professional and community awards. She has been actively involved in research and has served as an investigator on studies involving asthma\, hypertension and preeclampsia\, HIV\, diabetes\, and drug addiction during pregnancy. Dr. Graves was also a presenter at the 2023 Maternal Mortality Summit that took place at the 2023 District VII Annual District Meeting. The MHAD webinar will include a Q&A session so don’t miss your opportunity to engage in what’s sure to be an informative evening.
