SUMMARY:Project ECHO & AAP
DESCRIPTION:The AAP is excited to announce that the Maternal-Infant Health and Opioid Use ECHO have joined together to form a collaborative that aims to support pediatric practices in their implementation of clinical interventions to improve the health outcomes of infants and families affected by prenatal opioid use. Pediatric practices interested in developing sustainable patient- and family-centered approaches to treatment and support for infants with prenatal opioid exposure are encouraged to apply. Project ECHO (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is an innovative telementoring program designed to create virtual communities of learners by connecting experts with primary care teams in local communities\, fostering an“all teach\, all learn” approach. This ECHO will incorporate quality improvement work and will meet monthly from October 2020 through April 2021. The opportunity to participate is open to all pediatric practices. The ECHO sessions will be held the second Monday of each month@ 1:00 – 2:00 pm(ET) | 12:00 – 1:00 pm(CT). \nRegister Here
