DESCRIPTION:Beyond the Pill:  Expanding Reproductive Autonomy and Contraceptive Access (#MMC20087): \nThe UCSF Bixby Center’s Beyond the Pill team is excited to partner with the Take Control Initiative to bring you this live interactive webinar. The training is free\, CME/CE accredited\, and open to all clinic staff. This all-day virtual training includes the following sessions: \nUpdate on IUDs and Implants for all staff and clinicians\, with emphasis on evidence-based guidelines and case-based learning. Includes discussion of LARC as part of the contraceptive method mix and clinical questions related to method selection\, hormones\, and side effects\, as well as approaches to streamline access. \nContraceptive Counseling Fundamentals for all staff and clinicians who conduct counseling\, with a focus on patient-centered approaches.
