Registered attendees will receive a link to launch the course in mid-October. \nCourse Objectives: After this course\, learners will be able to: 1) discuss the importance of hemorrhage\, hypertension\, and racial inequities as preventable causes of maternal death in the United States; 2) discuss similarities and differences between TJC’s new standards for perinatal safety and the AIM bundles for obstetric hemorrhage and severe hypertension; and 3) implement strategies for meeting the new standards\, including written protocols and procedures\, education of providers and staff\, multidisciplinary drills\, review of cases\, and provision of educational materials to patients and families. \nCE Information: \n\nCME: Details coming soon\nCNE: This activity has been evaluated and approved by the Continuing Education Approval Program of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health for 9.0 CE contact hours\, zero hours of pharmacology credit.
